BFIC Minutes - June 8, 2011.

Members attending: Becky Kuithe, Brian Fanguy, Rombelto Medrano, Pat Ojobaro, Clyde McKenzie, Steve Sherman, Yuna Nguyen Others: Anne and John Bedford, Hung Nguyen

Meeting called to order @ 7:35 PM Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. Treasurer's report presented and accepted.

Old Business: S. Sherman reports re estimate from company to clean grafitti from back fence and paint it with "grafitti proof" paint is $3,456. Motion was made, seconded , and voted on unanimously to accept bid and get work done. S. Sherman also reports that some people have been trespassing and swimming in the pool during the week when the pool is closed. He is trying to get clear pictures of the trespassers.

New Business: Anne Bedford would like to join board and be in charge of architectural committee. A motion was made, seconded, and carried unanimously to elect her to the board and appoint her in charge of architectural committee. J. Bedford reports he has driven around neighborhood and taken pictures of numerous violations. A discussion was held about deed restrictions, vacant houses, etc. A. Bedford will start sending out letters. After 3rd letter, it was agreed that our lawyer should be contacted. A discussion was held about non-residents using pool. S. Sherman states a homeowner has requested permission to put up a permanent flagpole in his yard. He should turn in request with details to board. However, no one present has any objections to his proposal as long as pole is standard size and will be flying acceptable flag. S. Sherman is passing around petition for Al Hoang reelection. C. Mc Kenzie asks that we request trees be planted on S. Kirkwood median.

Meeting adjourned @ 8:35 PM.
