Treasurers Report: Read and accepted.
Old business: J. Bedford gave report re his visit with our lawyer. A new paralegal, Elizabeth Hall, has been assigned to work with BFIC. Mr. Holt was apologetic that we have been having problems & promises that things will improve. J. Bedford reported re his dealings with the City & tax board re lot behind tennis court that used to be used for MUD district. W. Koonce is going to call 311 to complain about overgrowth of vegetation on this lot that is pushing on our cyclone fence. J. Bedford then reported about the problem homes in the neighborhood. W. Koonce reports that we have a new pool maintenance man & that a cleaning crew has thoroughly cleaned the club house. C. McKenzie is checking on hiring a lifeguard. R. Medrano & W. Koonce will meet with him to find out about his progress.
New business: S. Sherman has created a web site for BFIC braysforest.org J. Bedford announces that he is no longer willing to be president of BFIC, but will continue to be a board member & will be in charge of deed restrictions. He promises to work with whomever assumes presidency. P. Carrasco asks what he can do to help & will consider working with J. Bedford on deed restrictions. B. Fanguy reports that Ray Stephens is working on BFICs 2006 tax return. J. Bedford turned meeting over to open elections. 8 of the previous board members have agreed to continue. S. Sherman has agreed to become a board member. A discussion was held re pool registration, newsletter, renewing pool permit. B. Fanguy agreed to fix the spring lock on the gate. Meeting adjourned @ 9:15 p.m.
