Minutes of the April Meeting

BFIC Minutes - April 8, 2010.

Members attending: Becky Kuithe, Brian Fanguy, Rajesh Karee, Steve Sherman, Pat Ojobaro

Meeting was called to order @ 7:40 PM

Minutes of previous meeting were read & approved Treasurer's report was presented & accepted

Old Business: B. Fanguy has given data to Ray Stevens to do our income tax statement. Any excess funds from 2009 are allocated for pool, clubhouse, and tennis court updates. B. Kuithe gave report on roses - will pick up 4 bushes on Saturday . Gus Noroni has agreed to plant them. P. Ojobaro reports she has not talked to police dept. yet about grafitti. She is working on newsletter. A discussion was held about crime in the area. B. Fanguy states he will contact lawyer re sending a letter re billboard on lawn on High Star.

New Business: B. Kuithe asks if specific addresses can and/or should be included in minutes re liens placed on properties due to delinquent maintenance fee payments. The minutes are posted on the web site. S. Sherman suggests we ask lawyer about this. S. Sherman has an idea for a neighborhood get-together on May 8, 2010 @ 2PM. A discussion was held & everyone agrees this is a good idea. He will make up the flyers & street signs. He has invited our new councilman, Al Hoang to attend. He suggests we ask people to bring a dish if they wish, but we will provide drinks & light refreshments. B. Kuithe agreed to go to Sam's & buy drinks, etc. It was agreed that spending should not exceed $500. S. Sherman will make up some posters to put up @ the clubhouse re Deed Restrictions, Committees, etc. He asks that the rest of us make up some posters we think would be of interest to our neighbors.

The meeting was interrupted while the Fire Dept was called to put out a grass fire someone had set outside our fence behind the tennis courts.

Meeting was adjourned @ 9:15 PM
