BFIC Minutes - December 13, 2007

Meeting called to order @ 7:47 PM Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. Treasurer's report was presented and accepted.
Old Business: J. Lyons reports that her neighbor on Bugle is holding frequent garage sales & is leaving merchandise, tables, etc. out in view between sales. J. Bedford will send a letter to renter who lives there & also to owner re violation of deed restrictions. J. Lyons also brought up problem of overgrown bushes on property behind her. J. Bedford gave a review of past due BFIC accounts and a report re deed restriction violations in our neighborhood - abandoned houses, etc. Re Tract 94D - we are being sued for back taxes for this land. BFIC has requested & received approval for reduced evaluation from HCAD dated 7/17/07. Evaluation for tax purposes is now $100.
New Business: J. Bedford has turned in his resignation as BFIC President to be effective 12/31/07. W. Koonce has also resigned as BFIC Treasurer as of 12/31/07. A homeowner came into meeting requesting approval of new paint color for his home. He showed the board paint samples and received approval for 3 of his choices. A discussion was held re recruiting new board members. B. Fanguy propose that we investigate possibility of hiring Ray Stevens as bookkeeper to lighten the load of treasurer. J. Lyons suggests we check with some place like Iron Mountain to store documents.
